I’m a web developer in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I develop corporate applications on the with Microsoft .NET platform. I’m beginning to learn PHP, so I can customize Wordpress. Right now I’m working from home, mostly on Bastter.com, a website on the Brazilian Stock Market (Portuguese only) that I helped creating six years ago. It grew to become the most visited independent forum on stock investments in Brazil. I only do the programming, not the design.
I’m also the webmaster of the official site of Daminhao Experyenca, an underground Brazilian musician, creator of a unique musical style and life philosophy. I highly recommend that you visit his site (there’s an english version, just click the american flag) and download the album Planeta Lamma. Be prepared for a shocking musical experience !

In this blog I’ll try to describe the daily life of a web developer and web enterpreneur in a country that offers all kind of obstacles for enterpreneurship, from suffocating burocracy and taxes to a socialist government that cares very little about private property.
Still, people like to call it “the country of the future”. I guess that’s what it will always be.
